I'll say just let them do their jobs, and we'll see what comes along. =Dowl_orderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03915552109587196047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3948205888327592831.post-82040149836720134662011-03-06T17:51:20.769+00:002011-03-06T17:51:20.769+00:00I know the 12 beta is better than the current FF r...I know the 12 beta is better than the current FF release, but can find nothing that can quantify the difference between what it is now, what has changed and what it is expected to be. Perhaps that is strategic to prevent the competition from knowing it's upcoming changes will be. We also know a major issue is that Microsoft has NOT fixed major stability issues in HOTMAIL as it promised years ago. That aspect is preventing FF to complete that aspect and has allowed Microsoft to in affect delay release of the FF4 browser. Microsoft is again dragging its feet to allow it to gain more time to complete its own browsers and at the same time delay FF4. It is expected the FF4 fixes will be released on 3/8/2011 and if there are no problems with that, the formal release will take place on 3/10/2011. IE9 is expected to be released by 3/14/2011. To me, Safari has always been a bare bones browser is that way to try to get more speed. But I always seem to get script errors that time out. Apple doesn't seem to care about this and other browsers are faster. Chrome is a newer browser that is also bare bones, but very fast. Major complaints against FF has been memory leaks and speed. Those issues now seem resolved and then some. Just a few more memory plugs and aside from the Microsoft issue with hot mail they cannot control, FF4 should be hands down the best browser in terms of security, speed, capability, add-ons, and ease of use.

I, for one, am looking forward to the formal release of FF4. They have taken along time to roll this one out for all O/S and keep trying to make more under the hood improvements before IE9 and Chrome get their next releases out. For FF4, its now time. Waiting any longer will lose market share. Delays already seem to be taking that tollAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
